About our Farm
Dalew Farms is owned and operated by Dave and Chantal Lewington and their children, Jacob, Olivia, and Emma.
Proudly going into our 18th season (2022) at this location; we are currently offering Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Beef & Pasture Raised Pork. Our animals and crops are raised using sustainable/regenerative agriculture methods such as no-till planting, rotational grazing, and cover crops.
Our son Jacob also raises Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Goat meat and our daughter Emma sells pastured eggs which are available to purchase on Click Fork, The Northeastern Online Farmer’s Market. Our livestock is raised on pasture during the spring, summer, and fall.
We are also proud members of the Ecological Farmers Association of Ontario.
In 2019 we took on the operations of Click Fork – The Northeastern Online Farmers Market which offers products to consumers from several local farms with similar growing practices/methods as our own farm!
We are very passionate about small-scale ecological and regenerative agriculture and we work extremely hard to grow the healthiest and most nutritious food we can each season in an environmentally sustainable way while also supporting our local economy by patronizing local suppliers.
When we make decisions on our farm, the primary factor is: “Would we feel comfortable feeding this food to our own family?!” The answer to that question is YES! We have gained a lot of experience over the years and we are confident in our ability to continue to produce foods of the finest quality while using sustainable methods.
